Pancreas Day
Five hours of livestreaming from a castle
Pancreas Day is an annual pharmaceutical-industry event focused on medication research for pancreatic cancer. During this closed event for physicians, the latest research findings were shared through presentations.

To make the event accessible during lockdowns, a livestream was set up from a castle in Barneveld. The location was beautiful but technically challenging because there was no stable internet connection. Valo solved this with a reliable connection using multiple SIM cards and data bundles.
Closed online event through WebinarGeek
The broadcast consisted of 20 presentations and an award ceremony for the most innovative research, resulting in an uninterrupted five-hour livestream.
Physicians were invited through WebinarGeek with unique access links. Valo handled the communication and e-mail flows around registration and replay access.
Result
The result was a successful day with key physicians presenting and many other doctors watching online. Invitees who missed the event could watch it back afterwards.
