Transparent and accessible for a national membership base
KNOV is required to hold an annual general assembly. Valo helped the organisation broadcast several hybrid assemblies, where some members were present in the venue and others could join from home.
By choosing an online general assembly, KNOV made the meeting accessible to every member. Around 200 members could attend in Amersfoort, while the rest followed online.
Preparation
One challenge was access control. These meetings are closed, so only the right people could be given access. Valo advised using Vimeo with personal invitations and password protection.
Valo also recorded preparatory videos and helped organise an online meeting in advance, so questions could be handled before the general assembly itself.
Result
Together with KNOV, Valo livestreamed a successful series of general assemblies. The first assembly before Covid was attended by 200 members in the room and viewed 600 times online. The online assembly during Covid was viewed 1,000 times.
