A podcast series for informal carers and professionals
De Mantelfoon is an informal-care support service in Rotterdam. It offers a 24/7 helpline for anyone who needs support while caring for someone close to them.
To make their expertise available to a wider audience, De Mantelfoon initiated a podcast series with stories, expert advice and practical support for informal carers and professionals.
Preparation
Each episode featured different guests who shared their experiences with informal care. The first episodes were recorded at several care locations in the city.
Valo worked closely with the marketing agency that coordinated the guests and content, and advised De Mantelfoon on an efficient recording approach for the full series.
Result
Valo produced the Mantelfoon Podcast, edited the audio and handled the distribution of the episodes. Peter Robbemond, Valo’s founder and technical producer, hosted the conversations.
